I HAVE PERMENANT SCARS ALL OVER MY BODY TOO AS I BOUGHT THE "FULL BODY" HAIR REMOVAL PACKAGE THAT COST ME A WOPPING $4500.00! I PAID FOR MY TREATMENTS IF FULL AND HAVE NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT BUT BURN SCARS AND WHITE SPOTS EVERYWHERE ON MY BODY...THESE SPOTS DON'T EVEN GET A TAN IN SUMMER TIME. I LOOK LIKE I AM FREAKEN POLKA DOTTED THANKS TO ALC BUT I DIDN'T LET THEM GET AWAY WITH IT. I TOOK ALC TO COURT...TWICE! AND I WON...I HAVE NOT SEEN A CHECK FOR MY REINBURSMENT JUST YET BUT I AM GLAD TO SEE THAT TWO JUDGES AGREED THAT I SHOULD GET A REFUND AS NOT ONE HAIR FELL OUT AND I HAVE PICTURES TO PROVE THAT AND PICTURES OF MY BURNS AND SCARS AS WELL. DON'T GIVE UP...PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP. KEEP CALLING...BRING THEM TO COURT IF YOU NEED TO. ALC NEEDS TO SHUT THEIR DOORS FOR GOOD AND STOP TAKING ADVANTAGE OF PEOPLE'S HARD EARNED MONEY AS THE MAKE PROMISES THAT THEY THAT DO NOT KEEP. THEIR LASER'S DO NOT WORK!!!! Written by Amy, on 07-09-2009 23:57 I do know that they change the heads of the lasers for hair removal and skin rejuvenation but I will say that a lot of the girls have a lack of training and do not know what they are doing. The managers must all have the same personalities because my ex-manager would do the same things to clients, even yell at them. I am not a former employee that is mad and bad mouthing the company. I resigned because of all the horrible things that went on. I am so sorry about your legs. I do know that there are some people who actually have law suits against this company. DO NOT go back there. Nom atter what they offer you. |

Written by Laser Certified Specialist, on 12-08-2009 08:31 I received my laser certifications from an actual school and they were saying that ALC uses IPL "lasers" to remove hair...well IPL's ARE NOT LASERS!! They are sparratic beams of light, and when heated enough, will "remove hair" (and burn your skin too!)The way you can tell an IPL from a REAL laser is by the wand/handle: If the wand/handle is in the shape of a rectangle--it's an IPL and should only be used for skin rejuvenation, photo-facials, etc... If the wand/handle is in the shape of a circle...that's a real laser, made for hair removal. If you have darker skin, you need a YAG and lighter skin, you need an Alex laser... just remember 'circle'. Good luck! I hope this helps for next time anyone decides to get laser hair removal. |
